Ambient afternoon

An afternoon of ambient music concerts

Delighted to announce an upcoming live event, presenting a series of ambient music concerts. The event will be held in the Museum of East Dorset, Wimborne, on Sunday 18th May, 1:30-5:50 pm. Free entrance. Featuring concerts by Akira Sileas, Andrew Heath, Chris Sciacca, Chuter, Circles in Circles, Monophonic, Rob and Veronique Palmer, and Slow Clinic. We’re promised a heady combination of experimental electronica, electro-acoustic music, modular synths, tape loops, Frippertronics, sound art and installations. The event will be held in a garden setting, with an adjacent cafe area, at the rear of the museum. Access is via Crown Mead, with entrance next to the public library. We’re really excited to welcome this group of musicians to Wimborne, which we like to think of as a home of ambient music, given that it is the birthplace of Robert Fripp. All welcome - we very much hope to see you there.
